Dear Ones,
So, here I am in Sweden! The flights were very uneventful...they even gave me an "economy plus" window seat on the over-seas flight from Chicago to London. I actually slept some! It was interesting to at least have the feeling that I was in England for those few hours in the London Heathrow airport. There sure isn't any "red tape" coming into Sweden as a tourist...practically just walk in with a "welcome". Guess staying more than 90 days is not so easy, though.
The invitation I need in order to apply for my Russian visa is here waiting for me, so that is to be done first thing on Monday. Sure was nice to have Laura waiting for me here! Nice to see these friends again, too. It is not hard to feel "at home" here.
This is short, but my head is a bit "fuzzy" due to long travel hours and the time difference...anyway, you'll know I did arrive and now have a good connection at least for a couple days...probably won't every day after Monday, as we'll be going to the islands then if all goes as planned.

Wow Grandma I'm inpressed you have joined the blog land family. Look forward to seeing at least you writen updates if not pictures. Read you letter to Floyd as we went to S.B. today to update my ss card. Only took us 5 min so we went to Target for a little while also. Oh the nice stores a big town has.
We are planning on going to B.C. for the weekend.
